What should I do if my carer is sick/ taking holiday and is not available?
We advise all carers to communicate directly with their clients in advance if they are planning on taking any holiday, or as soon as possible if they are feeling unwell. This way, you can instruct us to find a “fill-in” carer - something we can do whether in an emergency or far in advance. You can do this either through the platform, by selecting ‘Add a carer’ in the Care Team page, or by contacting us on email@example.com or calling 020 8629 1030.
